My first skateboarding magazine was an old issue of Big Brother magazine that featured Andy Roy. I thought the magazine was awesome because you had to be 18 years old to buy it, and somehow I sneaked it past my dad’s viewpoint, and he bought it for me. The interior wasn’t as risky as I thought, but I did notice that there was a lot more profanity and potential nudity than the average skateboarding magazine. It was awesome, and introduced me to the counter culture of skateboarding. The magazine was the brain child of Steve Rocco, and eventually spawned Jackass, but not before being bought out by Larry Flynt. This morning, news broke that the boys at Jackassworld.com will be bringing back the magazine in digital format! That’s right, the Big Brother magazine will be available online for your viewing with more skateboarding and counter culture references than you can shake a stick at. According to Transworld…”“Right now the plan is that Big Brother will be a section of Jackassworld.com….We’re going to put up all the back issues and anything we do skateboarding-related will be housed there as well.”

So there you have it folks. Skateboard Magazines online are getting a kick in the pants, with the release of Big Brother Magazine, online! Check out jackassworld.com for more details as they become available.

Sir Jorge, as they call me, is my pen name. Although, my real name is in fact Jorge, my internet credentials are huge as Sir Jorge. I write a lot, because I can't chase a skateboarding career all my life. So I sit in an office typing away, and when the man isn't looking over my shoulder, I hit the warehouse next door for a quick session. Nothing crazy, just some flip trick attempts, some big spins, a little 50-50 grind or board slide here and there, but nothing to brag about.
