The guys over at birdhouse skateboards are putting on a contest for us action sports filmers and editors. The contest is simple, check out this link and read up on the rules, download the footage, and submit your video.

For the lazy ones out there like myself, here are the rules:

1. Video must be at least 30 seconds long, but cannot exceed 60 seconds.

2. Only use footage provided by us in your video. (Video is available for download on the site)

3. Slam and Other footage can be incorporated into video however you see best fit.

4. You may use any kind of music to go with your commercial, but must include the music credits at the end of your promo. This includes: name of the band, the name of the song, the record company and official band website (or record company website if band website is not available).

5. You must incorporate the Birdhouse logo and The Beginning “Tree Flash” artwork (provided by us on the contest download page) into your video. Preferably at the beginning or end of your video. Birdhouse’s website, as well as a mention that the video is available now must also be included at the end of the promo).

12 board prize, so what do you have to lose?! Nothing at all, thats what! Contest ends May 29th, 2008, so get editing!
